Loot system

Hello there.
A lot of people new or old guild members, have been asking how we handle the loot to be as fair as it can be to everyone.

So, i came here to explain you all how it works.
During a raid, you will be always winning or loosing points.
Below you have an example of a 10man raid DKP


Everyone that is on the raid whether they are or not from the guild, they have a dkp counting. In case they appear on future raids, which is Alaran case, or Sycros.

The parameters which we do our counting (for now, when we move to ulduars 25 this will be much higher) are:



Wipes caused: The player weather is a tank a healer or a dps will loose 95 points in case they are the cause of the wipe. and those points will go by the formula 95 x (n^2), n= number of wipes caused. Which means if u cause 1 wipe you will loose 95 x 1^2 =95. If you cause 2 wipes you will loose 95*2^2 = 95*4 =380 points and so on.

Afk time: you will loose 45 points ever 10minutes you are afk. ( During that hour you dont receive the hour bonus points). Players who need to go afk and warn , if its considered for the raid leader as a valid reason will still receive the points per hour.

Left without reason: You will loose 250 points if you leave the raid without any warning. Also stacks with bad behaviour if needed.

Points/hour : Every player in the raid (except afkers) after passing one hour raiding will receive 100points.

Bad behaviour: Bad beahviour has nothing to do your performance as a player , but as a person. And works the same way of wipes caused; 240*n^2. Excess of spamming,no respect for one, or all players, rage quit, and other reasons are considered as bad behaviour.

Loot token : the current amount of points that you will loose for looting a token until item lvl =219.
Loot Gear : the current amount of points you will loose by looting normal gear until lvl 219.
Loot HM : The current amount of points you will loose by looting a hard mode gear item lvl 232.

Note: Weapon and shields are counted for now as 200 points each for 219 lvl item. And 330points for HM loots.

Good behaviour bonus : If during whole raid you dont get any warning from the leader, or any negative points from bad behaviour, spam leader , afk, bad class player you will win a bonus of 200 points per raid. Might not look much but will mark the difference between players.

Spam leader : Points you will loose for spamming the leader in whispers, either is because of looting, tactics, etc... ( by spaming i mean really spaming not talking).

knowledge of the tactis : If you do good and you know the tactics for all boss fights during raid you will win 35 points. If youdont know for 1 or more bosses you will loose -35 points.

Dps/100: means if you do 5000 dps, you will win 50 points, 900dps to 9 points. and so on.
(healers and tanks will win according to their performance);

Go as asked: if we need a tank and you have a geared tank and you come as tank, and later if we need a healer you will come as healer, and later we need a dps and you respecc to dps, you will win 150*n^2 , where n is the amount of times you had to change char or respecc.

Passed drops: You will win 10points per drop passed. Also you will win the points the item is worth it. For instance if you roll for a HM weapon and you win, and you pass to the next one even know you need, you will win 10+330 points.
Note: If the raid wipes without killing any bosses, no points are awarded to anyone.


Every raid we do a excel file with the sum of points like in the first figure i showed.
We have a global file with all dkp points from anyone.
